うだうだとMAMP2を使ってたので、この際MAMP PRO3.0.5に上げてみましたが、やはり問題なかったです。

こうならないのが不思議ですね…。特にAPP_CHARSETの値を変えたりしてないですよね。

Chromeの開発者ツールでレスポンスヘッダはどうなってます？こちらのMAMPではこうなってます
